Michael Neely, DO
Dr. Neely emphasizes a non-surgical approach to medicine and is committed to staying educated on the newest medical techniques and advanced technologies. He is experienced in providing comprehensive musculoskeletal care, which encompasses advanced sports medicine, including care for ligament, tendon and joint injuries of the spine, and care for upper and lower extremities.

Dr. Neely is skilled at treating athletes of all levels and abilities who are engaged in a wide variety of sports. Dr. Neely is a trusted provider for athletes from the New York Yankees, New York Giants, New York Mets, New England Patriots, New Jersey Nets, St. Louis Cardinals, Philadelphia Phillies, Baltimore Orioles, Houston Rockets, Washington Wizards, Charlotte Bobcats, Memphis Grizzles, NHL and NBA officials.  

Those who do not consider themselves athletes, however, should not be dissuaded from seeking his expertise. Dr. Neely’s proficiency in physiatry, sports medicine and treating athletes is transferable to any individual who is interested in remaining active at any level. He understands that not everyone wants to run a marathon, but he operates under the belief that everyone wants to, and deserves to, live a full life that is free of pain. That’s why he carefully evaluates each patient’s condition, as well as their goals, and prescribes customized holistic treatment plans that effectively meet each individual’s unique needs. 


Dr. Neely completed his medical degree from Ohio University. In his spare time, Dr. Neely enjoys spending time with his family and dog Riley.
